Perth’s Stirling St Precinct moves ahead with Student AccommodationStirling Capital and global student accommodation provider GSA have teamed up to launch 89 Stirling St a 22 level 543 bed student accommodation high rise tower. The development has the backing of The University of Western Australia’s Perth Education City Initiative.

The building will feature a mix of accommodation types, with individual self-contained studio rooms and shared apartments. There will be shared amenities including a communal study area, pool, gym library, roof-deck with skyline views and a ground floor café and bar tenancy.

Students will be able to take up a 50-week lease during the full academic year.

The proposal will be the first dedicated major off campus development in Perth and bring much added vitality to the urban renewal going on in the Stirling Rd precinct.

A $1.8 million forward works package has commenced as of March, and the building is forecast to be open for the 2019 academic year.
